The all-new 2024 Tacoma reveal is just around the corner and Toyota teased us with another picture today with a portion of the tail gate revealed. The picture reveals a stamped tail gate similar to the 2022 3rd gen Tundra and also shows an “i-Force MAX” badge which confirms there will be a turbocharged engine variant similar to the newer Toyota’s however sources say these will not be marketed as a “Hybrid” vehicle – at least for the TRD Pro trim.
- TRD Pro grille with center LED light bar
- Opaque DRL in headlights
- Tail gate trunk spoiler
- Similar LED tail light design
We suspect the 2024 Tacoma will carry over the Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5 with a plethora of driving assists such as Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Road Sign Assist, Proactive Driving Assist and Automatic High Beams.
We’re excited to see all the aftermarket parts coming out for the 2024 Tacoma. Maybe we will see some awesome coilover kits from Eibach? Check out our review of the Eibach Pro-Truck Tacoma suspension we got for the truck. We can’t imagine what the wait list will be like for the 2024 Tacoma. When I tried to sign up for my 2022 Tundra, I had to wait 2 years to find one at MSRP. If you’re wanting to get into a Tacoma now, you better call your dealership ASAP.
